As a growing ecommerce business selling across multiple channels, DeepDrip relies on efficient operations to manage both direct-to-consumer and wholesale orders at scale.

THE PROBLEM

As DeepDrip expanded to 7+ sales channels, their backend operations became increasingly complex. ShipHero managed fulfillment, while QuickBooks handled accounting—but the two systems were not effectively connected.

This led to major operational challenges:

  • Orders had to be manually entered into QuickBooks
  • No reliable sync between accounting and fulfillment systems
  • Tracking information required manual updates and reconciliation
  • Each sales channel required different tax treatment—some remitted tax, others did not
  • Customer records could not be matched using standard fields, requiring custom logic based on sales channel and location

On top of that, DeepDrip’s workflow required over 200 unique field mappings across products, shipping methods, payment types, and custom fields.

Out-of-the-box integrations couldn’t support this level of complexity.

The result: hours of manual work each day, frequent errors, and a system that couldn’t scale with the business.
